Other Projects

I find that I am able to write my ideas down easier if I can visualise the end product...thus I have created book covers for each of my story ideas.  It helps me learn a lot about the book; about the genre, mood, characters etc... I also really enjoy putting the covers together.

Here are the other projects I have in various stages of planning and writing.  When they get to a point where I am ready to share more about these books I will create individual pages for them, so keep checking back to see how your favourite story is progressing....

Begin Again

What do you do when your whole world has crumbled around you?   You begin again.

Sheridan realised she had become a cliche.  Her university sweetheart turned husband has deserted her for his secretary and has left both her and their daughter without a second thought, she was in danger of becoming a bitter, angry, hateful divorcee and her life was falling about.  After a dream involving her first love, Blake she is encouraged by her best friend to track him down.

Sheridan discovers that life has in fact been kind to her. Blake is struggling with his own demons and needs her as much as she needs him, but can he admit that it's time to move on with someone new?

Chasing Lane

Former child star Lane Fisher has been floundering in Hollywood for a while.  In danger of becoming yet another failed child prodigy she is struggling to find her place in the serious world of acting, and must learn to stand on her own two feet to fight for what she really wants.

Bodyguard to some of the most powerful men in Washington, Chase Hanton is living the dream, until he breaks the rules and is shifted from his dream job of guarding the influential to babysitting a Hollywood brat.

Beneath Lane's glitz and glamour, Chase can see a talented actress struggling beneath the confines of her image.  Can he help her realise her true potential before she turns into yet another Hollywood cliche?

What the Heart Can Bear...
inspired by a true story...

"You don't know how strong you can be until being strong is your only option" - Bob Marley

After a bitter betrayal, single mother Pru is struggling to rebuild her life.   But just as she thinks she is getting things back on track, the unthinkable happens and she must begin preparations for the battle of her life.

Against all the odds, she must find the strength inside of her to protect her child and provide a happy future for the both of them.  A heartwarming tale of rising above the anger and bitterness to do what is right for a child.

In Memoriam

When the entertainment industries night of nights is rocked by a terrorist attack the world must question; Who has more power in the modern world? Governments, or Hollywood?

While the world reals from the initial impact of the audacious attack, those left in Hollywood struggle to survive, while the rest of the world helplessly looks on in shock.  Some people rise to the challenge, while others try to cash in on the misery of those around them.  Ordinary people work by the side of their idols, tough action stars are reduced to whimpering babies, and in death stars are reduced to everyday casualties in a global war.

Hollywood is decimated by the attacks and has to rebuild.  With the elite of the acting industry dead, maimed or traumatised can a new generation rise to the challenge?

The Boy With The Beatle Haircut

It is the 1990's, the height of Brit Pop and Michelle "Mikki" Taylor is on a pilgrimage to the birthplace of her favourite band, the Beatles.  The young Australian has travelled halfway around the world to marvel at something that happened over thirty years ago...

James Callaghan is heading home for the holidays.  Liverpool and his mother's house is a far cry from his comfortable life with his father in Camden, London.  He is going home with a mission - to convince his mother to let him drop out of University to pursue his dream of stardom...

On the train from London James notices the young girl in the blue velvet jacket and strikes up a conversation that will change the course of both their lives...
